  Wow.... what a great dining experience ! !
  
  Marmara is the best Turkish Restaurant
  in Melbourne, with great ambience and being Turkish we appreciated the authentic cuisine,
  
  We were celebrating a birthday and selected the Marmara Special Banquet, so we could enjoy the extensive variety of dishes,
  
  The food was fresh, cooked to perfection and
  plentiful, everything we ate was delicious, but my favourites were the lamb and seafood,
  it just melts in the mouth,
  
  The owner and all the staff were fantastic,
  they were very friendly, patient & professional,
  willing to accomodate our every request with a smile ; )
  
  We will definitely be returning soon ! !

  Walked in on Sunday 6pm, the place was still half empty. Waiter asked whether we had reservation, we said no, he responded with a very doubthful look. We were seated and the waiter didnt say anything about needed to have the table cleared soon. He just rushing us from the start, asking 3 times whether we were ready to order while we were still checking the menu. Food was just very ordinary, service was TERRIBLE, our plates were immediately cleared once empty and we were told we only had 10 to 15 minutes before other guests arrived. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A RESERVATION FOR THE TABLE, THEN DONT BOTHER TO SEAT US DOWN FROM THE START. RUSHING YOUR CUSTOMER TO FINISH THEIR FOOD IS NOT THE KIND OF SERVICE A RESTAURANT SHOULD PROVIDE. Even at Macdonald you still can take your time to finish your food.
